Content and Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

Our growing agency is creating a flexible, new position for a full-time professional who enjoys writing content, digital marketing, and supporting search engine optimization. For additional flexibility, this position will allow this person to work in the city and state of their choice. 

We are looking for a thinker – someone who wants to have input on our approach and contribute unique ideas for each client. This person will report directly to our Director of Search. Responsibilities will include content writing, keyword research, content optimization, performance reporting, link building, outreach, and client presentations. 

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Willingness to work within a team for strategy, planning, and client management
  • Ability to independently perform client deliverables including research, report compiling, formatting, templating
  • Ability to write and optimize content for SEO
  • Performs link development outreach, contacting vital targets for Search campaign


  • Willing to work on East Coast time regardless where you live
  • Understanding of data and analysis
  • Strong writing, grammar copy editing skills with a focus on tightness and consistency
  • Willingness to do content entry when necessary
  • Willingness to fly to Philadelphia area for annual meetings
  • Discipline to self-manage and juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

Education & Experience

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four year, accredited college or university with a background in English, Communications, Public Relations, Information Systems, Marketing, or similar field
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required

Bonus Points

  • Strategic social media and/or link building experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with SEO reporting tools strongly preferred
  • Experience with SEM and Paid Search platforms strongly preferred
