Entry Level Digital Marketer

Job Summary

Our growing agency has an opening for a full-time, entry-level digital marketing professional that will allow this person to learn a wide variety of digital marketing strategies and tactics. We are looking to invest in a rising star with the drive and confidence to make our team even better.

This person will be exposed to many facets of digital marketing, including SEO, search engine advertising, content development, content management of websites, and client communications. Training will be offered as this person is eased into this position. The perfect candidate must be able to work with and coordinate copywriters, SEO staff, paid advertising personnel, and programmers, as well as communicate directly with clients.

 

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Learn and assist in SEO tactics
  • Learn and assist in search engine advertising
  • Coordinate and assist with content development
  • Conduct copywriting and blog development
  • Manage website content including uploading and formatting of photos, text, links, videos, and more
  • Perform link development outreach, contacting vital targets for search campaigns
  • Learn Google Analytics and Arc’s reporting suite; provide reporting to clients
  • Conduct clear communication directly with clients; setup and conduct meetings and conference calls
  • Keep abreast of new technologies as needed to ensure ongoing competitiveness
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must live in the Philadelphia region
  • Understanding of marketing and customer acquisition
  • Strong writing, grammar, and copy-editing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Dependable transportation for client meetings and weekly staff meetings in King of Prussia
  • Discipline to self-manage and juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year, accredited college or university with a background in English, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or similar field
  • Minimum one (1) year of working experience in marketing
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
